This role is responsible for identifying federal opportunities, developing agency, prime, and subcontractor relationships, and managing the capture process. The Director works closely with, Liberty's federal growth advisory partner, which handles proposal development and capture support.

Liberty is hiring a Director of Federal Business Development to lead growth in federal contracting. This role is responsible for identifying federal opportunities, developing agency, prime, and subcontractor relationships, and managing the capture process. The Director works closely with, Liberty's federal growth advisory partner, which handles proposal development and capture support. This is a new, senior-level position reporting directly to the CEO. Responsibilities Identify and prioritize target federal agencies, contracts, and partnership opportunitiesDevelop and maintain relationships with federal agency contacts, prime contractors, and subcontractorsMonitor and qualify federal opportunities (RFPs, RFIs, RFQs, MRASs, market research and eBuy postings); evaluate and make bid/no-bid recommendationsLead capture activities and pre-RFP positioningHandled inbound inquiries from federal buyersBuild strategic partnerships within the federal government, prime contractors and subcontractors and other government-related entitiesRepresent Liberty at industry days, small business events, and partner meetingsTrack, record and report on pipeline activity using NextStage, CapturExec and HubspotCoordinate with internal operations and delivery teams to support proposal and contract executionMaintain working knowledge of applicable federal contracting compliance requirements
