Director of Facilities

We are seeking a Director of Facilities– Facilities Management for a regional acute care hospital in Paducah, KY. This leader will be responsible for planning, organizing, and directing all engineering and facilities operations, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, life safety, and general maintenance. The Director will oversee multi-layered teams of managers, internal staff, and external vendors to ensure the hospital’s physical environment supports high-quality patient care and regulatory compliance.

This position is open due to retirement and offers a rare opportunity for long-term impact at a 373-bed hospital.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree required
• 4+ years of experience leading facilities operations in a mid-to-large hospital environment
• Proven leadership of managers, technicians, and vendors
• Strong knowledge of healthcare compliance (Joint Commission, CMS, NFPA, AHJs)
• CHFM or CHE preferred
