The Director of Facilities is responsible for the preventative maintenance, repair, and upkeep of all agency buildings (including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems) grounds, and vehicles. 

 

What you'll be doing

  • Monitor quality of maintenance and repair work through periodic inspection and supervision
  • Cost-effective management of purchasing maintenance, grounds, and housekeeping supplies and equipment
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable safety regulations and building codes
  • Supervise Facilities Team - supporting the growth and development of those supervised by including consistent coaching and direct feedback
  • Respond to emergency calls during non-business hours and determine appropriate corrective measures.

 

If you can do all that, you have what it takes. Must have....

  • Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Experience in the field of maintenance and construction including supervision of employees required
  • Have knowledge of building maintenance techniques including plumbing, HVAC, electrical systems, fire and safety regulations and procedures
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and be eligible to drive per the Maryhurst driving policy
