We are currently seeking a Director of Event Technology to lead in-house audiovisual operations at one of our Utah hotel properties. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing daily AV operations, managing on-site personnel, driving revenue growth, and ensuring exceptional client experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all in-house event technology operations and AV staff
• Build and maintain strong relationships with hotel leadership, event planners, clients, and KVL management
• Oversee event execution, including meeting setups, staffing logistics, and service delivery
• Manage equipment inventory, maintenance, and sub-rental coordination
• Drive revenue through proactive sales efforts, prospecting, responding to RFPs, and preparing proposals and quotes
• Develop and manage budgets, expenses, forecasting, and scheduling
• Ensure exceptional customer service and high production standards for all events

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of AV management experience in hospitality environments (hotel, conference center, convention center, or meeting facility)
• Strong sales and business development skills
• Extensive knowledge of audiovisual systems and event technology
• Proven leadership and team management abilities
• Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills
• Proficiency in computer systems and event management software
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and business-minded professional

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary Range: $58,000 - $60,000 annually
