Director Of EstimatingLead and manage the estimating team to develop accurate and competitive bids for construction projects. Oversee the preparation of detailed cost estimates, including labor, materials, and equipment. Collaborate with project managers and clients to ensure alignment on project scopes and budgets. Analyze project plans, specifications, and proposals to identify risks and opportunities. Maintain and update cost databases to reflect current market conditions and trends. Support the development of value engineering solutions to optimize project costs. Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards throughout the estimating process. Provide mentorship and training to junior estimators to enhance team performance.A successful Director of Estimating should have: 10+ years of experience, experience running teams of multiple estimators, a strong background in construction estimating with a proven track record of success. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to assess project requirements effectively. Proficiency in estimating software and tools commonly used in the construction industry. Strong communication and leadership abilities to guide and motivate a team. A detail-oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Knowledge of current market conditions and trends in construction costs.What's on offer: Competitive annual salary up to $160,000 USD. Vehicle allowance of $500/month.
