Overview
The Director of Enterprise Systems is responsible for leading the company’s technology platform to support business performance, scalability, and execution speed. This role serves as a strategic partner to the business, aligning systems, vendors, and technology investments with company priorities while driving measurable improvements through automation, AI, and system optimization.
Responsibilities- IT Strategy & Business Alignment
- Own, shape, and execute the company’s IT strategy, aligning priorities with business needs and long-term goals
- Partner with leadership to translate business needs into scalable technology solutions
- Identify and drive opportunities to improve efficiency, decision-making, and execution through systems, automation, and AI
- Systems, Automation & Innovation
- Own the lifecycle of core business systems, including selection, implementation, integration, and optimization
- Drive system enhancements, automation, and AI initiatives that reduce manual work and improve operational performance
- Define and evolve the company’s approach to AI, partnering with leadership to identify high-impact use cases and establish a clear adoption roadmap
- Ensure systems and architecture enable scalable, effective use of automation and AI
- IT Operations & Infrastructure
- Oversee all IT operations, ensuring system performance, reliability, and scalability
- Lead and manage the Systems Administrator, providing direction, prioritization, and oversight
- Ensure effective support, maintenance, and administration of systems, infrastructure, and end-user environments
- Maintain disaster recovery and business continuity capabilities and solutions
- Develop and maintain the company’s cybersecurity program and risk management approach
- Ensure compliance with SOC1 Type II controls and conduct regular audits and assessments
- Manage all IT vendor relationships, including MSPs
- Set expectations, manage performance, and negotiate contracts
- Ensure vendors are aligned with business priorities and delivering value
- Manage IT budget with disciplined, ROI-focused decision-making
- Establish IT standards, documentation, and governance
- Track and communicate key initiatives, risks, and performance

Technical Experience- 7-10 years of experience in IT management, with experience implementing AI or automation initiatives in a business environment
- Strong knowledge of on-premises and cloud-based IT systems, including Microsoft 365 and Azure and business systems (e.g. CRM, ERP)
- Experience evaluating, selecting, implementing, and optimizing business systems and technology solutions
- Expertise in managing Azure Active Directory, policies, and server environments
- Proficiency with network technologies such as firewalls, VPNs, and switches
- Advanced understanding of cybersecurity best practices and tools
- Familiarity with ITIL processes and service management frameworks
- Experience with project management tools and methodologies
- CompTIA Network+ or Security+
- Proven ability to manage budgets, contracts, and vendor negotiations
The expected salary range for this position is between $140,000 and $175,000. The actual compensation will be based on factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, market and business considerations and other factors permitted by law.Powered by JazzHR
