Director of Emergency Services
Location: Austin, TX
Schedule: Full-Time | Days (No Weekends)

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Director of Emergency Services to oversee a multi-site emergency department network with approximately 100 FTEs across 5 locations. This role requires a strong operational leader focused on patient flow, quality outcomes, staffing efficiency, and financial performance.
Responsibilities
- Oversee operations of main ER, surgical ER, and 4 FSEDs
- Manage staffing, scheduling, and performance for 100 FTEs
- Improve patient throughput, flow, and department efficiency
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards
- Lead budgeting, labor management, and cost control initiatives
- Drive patient experience and service excellence
- Develop and mentor nursing and ED leadership teams
Requirements
- BSN required; Master’s preferred
- 3+ years emergency leadership experience required (5+ preferred)
- Prior ED Director-level experience required
- Strong ability to demonstrate measurable operational outcomes (throughput, LWBS, cost savings, etc.)
Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: $135,000 – $153,000
- Bonus: 17.5% – 26.25% performance-based
