Job Summary
Under the direction of the Assistant Superintendent of Educational Services, the Director of Educational Services provides a high level of effective and strategic leadership in planning, organizing, directing, and evaluating the District's TK-12 curricular and instructional programs, staff development, state and local accountability programs, and Local Control and Accountability Plan Actions, Services, and Metrics. The Director of Educational Services exhibits strong emotional intelligence and effective interpersonal skills; fosters positive working relationships; promotes a culture of high expectations; provides leadership to bring about with an equitable and effective teaching and learning in support of positive student outcomes; works collaboratively for the continuous improvement of the educational programs of the District; and, uses an equity lens to provide innovative leadership, direction, and support to schools within the district to ensure students are prepared for college and career readiness.

Key qualifications for the role include: Bachelor's degree Master's degree with a major in education, administration, or related field Possess a valid California Credential Possess a valid California Administrative Credential Minimum three years of successful experience as a public school principal in elementary and/or secondary education Minimum five years of elementary and/or secondary public school teaching experience
It is recommended you attach a letter of interest, 3 recent letters of recommendations (within one year), and if you are a current teacher, a performance evaluation. and a resume
