The Director of Education reports directly to the Campus Director and the Dean of Education and Career Services. The Director of Education manages campus academic programs on a practical day-to-day and strategic long-term basis. All aspects of academic programs’ operation and success fall under the Director of Education’s responsibilities, including oversight of instruction, retention, student outcomes, faculty, academic use of technology and facilities, student advising, the Learning Resource Center, and student satisfaction, as well as effective implementation of the Student-Centered Active Education model in all courses.

This is a full time on-site (campus based) position. Must be able to work at least two(2) weekday evenings until 7:00 p.m and cover for,and observe/meet with, evening faculty. Sitting for long periods. Dexterity and coordination to handle files and single pieces of paper, occasional lifting of items weighing up to twenty-five (25) pounds such as files, stacks of paper, reference and other materials. Moving from place to place within the organization, minimal reaching for items above and below desk level. Strength, dexterity, coordination, and vision to use keyboard and video display terminal for prolonged periods.
