We are seeking a Director of Diagnostic Imaging. You will have twenty-four hour accountability for practice, quality of care and services within Diagnostic Imaging. You will also be responsible in managing productivity standards. Responsibilities:
· You will ensure provision of quality services by maintaining appropriate resources, staffing levels, competency of staff, physical space, maintenance/and performance of equipment, instrumentation calibration, and training and education of staff.
· You will ensure patient care is appropriate, accurate and patient specific. In addition, documentation of care is timely, accurate, and complete.
· You will ensure departmental compliance with JCAHO, and all legal, regulatory and accrediting agency requirements are met.
· You will ensure department contributes to the continuity of care through demonstrated use of an interdisciplinary team approach, collaborating and sharing pertinent patient information and observations with physicians and other members of the healthcare team.
Requirements:
· Completion of a 24-month AMA approved School or Radiology Technology
· Current Radiology Technologist license in the State of Florida
· Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
· ARRT
· Three (3) years previous experience as Radiology Tech
· Three (3) years previous supervisory experience as a Asst. Director Radiology or Director
· Proficient in Microsoft Office ( Excel, Outlook, Word)
· Organizational, Verbal, Interpersonal, Customer Relations, Mathematical, Analytical, Grammar/Spelling, Read/Comprehend written instructions, Follow verbal instructions, Computer, Clerical, MediTech
