You are highly organized, detail‑oriented, and able to manage multiple projects while maintaining a focus on fundraising results and donor engagement.What You will DoAs the Director of Development, you will lead the Reliant Foundation's fundraising and donor engagement efforts, helping to grow philanthropic support and deepen relationships with donors, corporate partners, and community leaders. Working closely with the President and Board of Trustees, you will develop and execute strategies that increase charitable giving, strengthen donor stewardship, and advance the Foundation's mission.Key responsibilities include:Fundraising, Donor Engagement, and Relationship ManagementIdentify, qualify, and maintain a pipeline of potential donors and funding partners.Build, cultivate, and strengthen relationships with high‑net‑worth individuals, private foundations, corporate partners, and prospective donors to secure major gifts, sponsorships, and long‑term philanthropic commitments.Manage donor development and moves management activities using our CRM system, partnering closely with the President to achieve annual fundraising goals.Write and produce annual fund appeals, donor communications, stewardship materials, grant proposals, and fundraising materials.Research and pursue corporate sponsorship opportunities, including the preparation and submission of online corporate giving and sponsorship applications.Collaborate with the President and Board of Trustees to advance fundraising priorities and leverage strategic relationships and networks for donor development.Support the development and engagement of volunteer leadership groups, including the Business Leaders Council and event committees.Event Strategy and ManagementLead the planning, management, and execution of all Foundation events, ensuring they support fundraising, stewardship, and community engagement goals.Oversee all aspects of Foundation events, including but not limited to:Drive for a Difference Golf Classic & AuctionFalmouth Road RaceHoliday PartyDonor cultivation and stewardship eventsServe as the primary lead for identifying and securing new corporate sponsors, foundation partners, and individual event supporters.Recruit, manage, and support event committees and volunteers to maximize community involvement and fundraising success.Develop and implement post‑event stewardship and engagement strategies to strengthen donor retention and increase future giving.Coordinate venues, vendors, logistics, budgets, timelines, and operational details for all Foundation meetings and events.Marketing and Communications SupportProvide content for marketing and communications to the Foundation's contractors (PR/marketing/design) to help promote Foundation events, fundraising initiatives, and donor engagement opportunities.Work with existing contractors to oversee the creation and production of event materials, sponsorship materials, signage, presentations, and digital communications.Administration and Organizational SupportTrack fundraising activity, donor engagement, sponsorship revenue, and event outcomes using our CRM donor management and reporting systems.Prepare fundraising and event reports for the President and Board of Trustees.Maintain accurate donor records and support stewardship and acknowledgment processes.Perform other duties as assigned, recognizing the collaborative nature of a small foundation environment where team members contribute across multiple functions.What You Bring to the RoleBachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.5-7 years of experience in successful fundraising, event planning, nonprofit administration, communications, or a related field.Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to create donor communications, sponsorship requests, and oversee marketing materials.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with donors, sponsors, volunteers, board members, and community partners.Experience planning and executing special events and overseeing event logistics.Proven track record with fundraising, donor relations, corporate sponsorships, and community partnerships.Proficiency with Microsoft Office and donor management or other CRM systems, such as DonorPerfect, OneCause, Givergy, or similar platforms.A proactive mindset, positive attitude, and willingness to take initiative.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a small team environment.Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends for events and donor activities.Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds for event setup and execution.Why Join Reliant Foundation?Make a meaningful and direct impact on community health and well‑being.Join a small, passionate, and dedicated team committed to strengthening our community.Work in a collaborative, supportive environment where your contributions are visible and valued.Enjoy a flexible hybrid schedule, including one remote day per week.Salary Range: $80,000 - $95,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualificationsTo ApplyPlease send a letter of interest, resume, and three professional references to:#J-18808-Ljbffr
