Position Purpose:<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/p>

Success Systems is adding depth, leadership and scale to our current staff of 8.  As Director of Development, you will report to the Chief Technology Officer and you will wear several hats.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/p>

You core role will be in the development arena, however you will also be responsible in assisting in the design, architecture of current and road map products along with assisting in the oversight and management of the development staff. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/p>

T<\/span><\/span>his is an opportunity to develop large -scale systems for Real -Time convenience, petroleum, liquor and grocery applications. These applications include back office, loyalty, BI, e -commerce. As the <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Director of Development,<\/span><\/span> you will participate in all phases of a multi -tier software development life cycle analysis, design, implementation and maintenance.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

Job Responsibilities:<\/span><\/span><\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span>

  • Grow with new products and feature sets as they are brought online.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Assist in the management and mentoring of other developers<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Design, Develop and implement new software features, web pages, APIs, and backend modules.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Maintain and improve the performance of existing software.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Recommend improvements to existing software programs as necessary.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Develop unit tests and maintain source control using Git, Source Control or Team Foundation.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Test and maintain software products to ensure strong functionality and optimization.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Ensure processes are followed at all stages of Software Development Life Cycle.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> Clearly and regularly communicate with management and technical support colleagues, working as part of an agile/scrum teams.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Work as part of a team of developers, QA, support staff, and engineers in a highly collaborative fashion.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Translate high level UML/Use Case into objects and structures;<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Participate in scrum meetings and project review meetings<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Help translate customer needs into business value<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Create Unit Tests<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

    Requirements<\/h3>
    Job Requirements (including Education):<\/span><\/span><\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/div>
    • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or information systems, or equivalent experience.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
      <\/li>
    • 8+ years -demonstrated experience in software development in Microsoft .NET, C#/VB.NET, .NET MVC WebForms, and using and creating web -based APIs<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Knowledge of .net 4.0 - .net core 2 -6<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
      <\/li>
    • 3+ year - Demonstrated experience with source control management using Git or Other Source Control.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
      <\/li>
    • 4+ years - Database MS SQL Server Skilled at writing T -SQL & Stored Procedures<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Experience working on agile development teams in a fast -paced, enterprise environment, preferably Scrum.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
      <\/li>
    • 5+ years JQuery, HTML, CSS, JavaScript<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
      <\/li>
    • 3+ years Xamarin Forms<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Knowledge of Software Orient architecture <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Highly Skilled in SQL Server 2008 -2019<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
      <\/li>
    • 4+ Years of Unit Testing with NUnit or MSTest or MSTest2<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
