Payactiv is seeking a Director of Demand Generation & Growth Marketing who will own the B2B revenue engine that connects employers to Payactiv's platform. Reporting to the VP of Marketing, you will design and scale integrated inbound and outbound programs across our direct sales and partner referral channels, lead new partner acquisition, and manage a team of three. You will work in close partnership with Sales, RevOps, the Partner team, and our GTM Marketing team - bringing analytical rigor, creative instinct, and deep fluency with AI-powered marketing tools to drive measurable pipeline and growth.

What you will do…

Demand generation & pipeline growth

  • Own full-funnel demand generation strategy and execution across paid media, ABM, email, content syndication, and events - from channel architecture through conversion
  • Build and scale integrated inbound and outbound programs that generate qualified pipeline for both the direct sales engine and partner referral channels
  • Partner with Sales and RevOps to define MQL/SQL criteria, pipeline SLAs, and attribution models that give the business a clear view of marketing's revenue contribution
  • Lead ABM strategy targeting enterprise and mid-market employer segments in close coordination with field sales and SDR teams
  • Develop a culture of experimentation - testing hypotheses, analyzing results, and scaling what works

Partner acquisition & channel marketing

  • Design and execute go-to-market programs that drive new partner acquisition across benefits brokers, payroll providers, HR platforms, and channel resellers
  • Build co-marketing frameworks and joint demand programs with existing partners to increase referral pipeline volume and quality
  • Develop partner enablement assets that accelerate how quickly new partners can refer and sell Payactiv solutions

AI-powered marketing

  • Champion the use of AI tools across the demand generation function - including AI-assisted content creation, audience segmentation, personalization at scale, and automated campaign optimization
  • Build and document AI-augmented workflows that help the team increase output, test more hypotheses, and deliver higher-quality programs
  • Evaluate and implement AI-native martech tools - from intent data and predictive scoring to conversational marketing and creative optimization
  • Bring a forward-thinking perspective on how AI is reshaping B2B demand generation, and keep the team ahead of the curve

Team leadership

  • Lead, develop, and inspire a team of three: Performance Marketing Manager, Campaign Manager, and Senior Event Marketing Manager
  • Set clear OKRs and performance frameworks aligned to pipeline and revenue goals
  • Translate marketing performance data into clear narratives that build alignment with Sales leadership and drive strategic investment decisions

What you need…

  • 8+ years in B2B demand generation or growth marketing, with at least 3 years in a director-level or senior leadership role
  • Proven track record building and scaling multi-channel demand programs that drive measurable pipeline and revenue - not just MQLs
  • Experience developing partner or channel marketing programs, including co-marketing and partner enablement
  • Background in HRtech, payroll, fintech, or employee benefits is a strong plus

AI fluency & modern marketing tools

  • Demonstrated experience using AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Perplexity, Jasper, or similar) to accelerate content creation, campaign ideation, audience research, and
  • messaging personalization
  • Ability to build and document AI-assisted workflows that scale team output without sacrificing quality or brand voice
  • Comfort evaluating and adopting AI-native martech - whether for intent data, predictive scoring, conversational marketing, or automated optimization
  • Prompt engineering fluency: can craft effective prompts for research, copywriting, competitive analysis, and performance reporting

Analytics & data fluency

  • Comfort operating in a data-first environment: you know your CAC, CPL, pipeline velocity, and conversion rates - and can build a compelling investment case from them
  • Familiarity with B2B marketing automation and CRM platforms (HubSpot, Marketo, Salesforce) and BI tools (Looker, Tableau, Amplitude, or similar)
  • Experience partnering with RevOps on attribution models, funnel reporting, and martech infrastructure
  • Strong understanding of A/B testing, cohort analysis, and experimentation methodology

Leadership & collaboration

  • Experience managing and developing marketing teams across performance, campaigns, and events
  • Strong cross-functional collaborator who can align Sales, RevOps, and Marketing around a shared revenue narrative
  • Curiosity, initiative, and a passion for building - energized by creating programs from the ground up and improving them relentlessly
  • Strong willingness to learn new tools, methods, and approaches - and a culture of curiosity you bring to your whole team

Nice to have

  • Experience with ABM platforms (6sense, Demandbase, or similar) and intent data tools
  • Exposure to AI-powered personalization at scale - dynamic content, predictive segmentation, or AI-generated creative variants
  • Familiarity with conversational marketing or AI chatbot-driven demand capture
  • SQL proficiency and comfort with self-serve data exploration
