Director / Controller Corporate Accounting - SAP S/4HANA Implementation & Leadershi
Location: Alpharetta, GA - Hybrid Schedule
Compensation: $180K-$200K base plus bonus

Role Summary
The Director Controller Corporate Accounting will serve as a senior finance leader responsible for global corporate accounting, controllership, and SAP S 4HANA implementation ownership. This role is highly visible and critical to building scalable accounting operations, ensuring compliance, and preparing the organization for future IPO readiness.

In this position, you will lead a global SAP accounting workstream, oversee complex close and consolidation activities, and drive automation and process improvements. You will partner closely with executive leadership, operations, IT, and external auditors to deliver accurate reporting, strong controls, and actionable financial insights.

Key Responsibilities
Lead the accounting workstream for a global greenfield SAP S 4HANA implementation, owning General Ledger design and global standards
Oversee design and deployment of SAP Finance modules including GL, AP, AR, fixed assets, cost centers, and profitability analysis
Direct global controllership functions including month end close, reconciliations, journal entries, variance analysis, and financial reporting
Manage complex close and consolidation activities across multiple legacy ERP systems during system transition
Establish and enforce accounting policies and procedures to ensure US GAAP and SOX compliance in preparation for IPO
Serve as primary point of contact for internal and external auditors, leading SOX control design, testing, and remediation
Drive digital transformation initiatives leveraging automation, AI, dashboards, and analytics to improve efficiency and controls
Build, lead, and develop a high performing corporate accounting and SAP Finance team while partnering closely with business leaders

Key Requirements
Ten plus years of relevant accounting and finance experience managing complex ERP environments, including seven plus years leading SAP S 4HANA implementations
Active CPA required with a Big Four public accounting background
Strong SAP experience within manufacturing environments with deep knowledge of GL, close, and reporting processes
Proven corporate accounting and controllership leadership experience with hands on operational accounting expertise
Experience with automation and reporting tools such as BlackLine, Power BI, and AR AP technologies
Advanced Excel skills including complex models, lookups, and pivot analysis
Strong problem solving, communication, and collaboration skills with the ability to lead through change
