Position Purpose
The Director of College, Career, and Military Readiness provides strategic leadership, coordination, and oversight of Career and Technical Education (CTE), dual credit and concurrent enrollment programs, work-based learning opportunities, industry-recognized credentials, military readiness initiatives, and postsecondary transition efforts.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership and Program Development
- Develop and implement a district-wide CCMR strategic plan.
- Align initiatives with Arkansas LEARNS, Success Ready Pathways, Perkins V, and ADE
accountability requirements.
- Serve as liaison to ADE, ADHE, colleges, workforce agencies, military organizations, and business
partners.
Career and Technical Education
- Oversee all district CTE pathways and programs.
- Monitor enrollment, concentrators, completers, and credential attainment.
- Coordinate Perkins funding and compliance.
Dual Credit and Postsecondary Partnerships
- Coordinate concurrent enrollment and dual credit opportunities.
- Maintain articulation agreements and partnerships.
- Expand equitable access to transcripted college credit.
College, Career, and Military Readiness
- Coordinate Student Success Plans.
- Facilitate college fairs, career fairs, workforce expos, and military awareness events.
- Support FAFSA completion and postsecondary transitions.
Industry Credentials
- Establish district goals for credential attainment.
- Monitor student participation and completion of industry certification programs.
- Coordinate testing opportunities and credential reporting.
- Evaluate return on investment of credential programs.
- Ensure alignment of credentials with workforce priorities
Work-Based Learning
- Expand internships, apprenticeships, job shadowing, and clinical experiences.
- Coordinate compliance and employer partnerships.
- Develop and maintain partnerships with local businesses, industries, workforce agencies, and
economic development organizations.
Military Readiness
- Build relationships with military recruiters and organizations.
- Support military readiness indicators.
Accountability and Reporting
- Maintain readiness dashboards.
- Monitor graduation rates, credentials, dual credit completion, pathway completion, work-based
learning participation, postsecondary enrollment, and military indicators.
- Provide reports to district leadership and the Board of Education.
Professional Development
- Train counselors, principals, and teachers on readiness initiatives and accountability
requirements.
- Provide annual updates regarding state requirements
- Lead district implementation teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Arkansas Building-Level or District-Level Administrator License
- Master''s Degree from an accredited institution
- Knowledge of Arkansas LEARNS and accountability systems
- Experience in CTE, counseling, workforce development, student services, and postsecondary
partnerships
- Strong data analysis and project management skills

Evaluation
Performance will be evaluated annually based on achievement of district goals, accountability
outcomes, compliance requirements, partnership development, and measurable student readiness
outcomes. Within three years, the district should demonstrate substantial growth in pathway
completion, dual credit completion, industry credentials, postsecondary enrollment, military
readiness indicators, and overall college, career, and military readiness performance.
