St. Vincent's Medical Center in Bridgeport has more than 3,200 employees. It includes a 473-bed community teaching hospital, a 76-bed inpatient psychiatric facility in Westport, a large multispecialty provider group, and special needs services for adults and children. St. Vincent's is the first hospital in Fairfield County to be integrated into the Hartford HealthCare network, and is the system's second-largest hospital.

Job Summary:

  • Leads clinical operations across assigned areas to ensure meeting performance metrics and other quality initiatives.

Job Responsibilties

  • Leads operations to provide high quality, cost effective services.

  • Measures

effectiveness and takes steps to ensure continuous performance improvement.

  • Develops and aligns strategies and initiatives from data analytics, trends and other findings that drive performance and goal achievement.

  • Assesses and optimizes revenue opportunities that drive performance in

clinical operations, including creating new programs that support these objectives.

  • Engages in development of staff and builds talent to ensure continuity of

clinical operations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor''s degree ina related field, or combination of High School degree and related experience required

  • Master''s degree in a related field preferred

  • 3 years required technical experience

  • 1 year of leadership/management experiene is preferred
