Job Description The primary responsibility of the Director of Clinical Education (DCE) is to lead and manage the full-time clinical education (Clinical Experiences I-III) component of the curriculum and to function as a liaison between the didactic and clinical education components of the Physical Therapy Program. The DCE serves as a co-instructor for Foundations of Professional Development in Physical Therapy I-III, which occurs in the semesters preceding Clinical Experiences I-III and is used to help students manage their pre-clinical and site-specific requirements. The DCE will also lead a didactic course based on their areas of contemporary expertise.
The term of employment is a 12-month Administrative & Professional Faculty appointment. The successful candidate will hold rank at the Assistant or Associate Professor level depending on qualifications and experience. This is a non-tenure track position.
