Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the childcare facility, ensuring a safe, compliant, and welcoming environment
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of early childhood educators and support staff
- Maintain compliance with state licensing regulations and Primrose curriculum standards
- Build and nurture strong relationships with enrolled families and the broader community
- Manage enrollment, budgeting, and administrative functions of the school
- Implement and uphold the Primrose Schools' Balanced Learning® curriculum and philosophy
- Conduct staff evaluations, training, and professional development initiatives
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field preferred
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in early childhood education leadership or childcare management
- Knowledge of Washington State childcare licensing requirements and DCYF regulations
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- CPR and First Aid certification (or ability to obtain upon hire)
- Proven ability to lead and inspire a team in a fast-paced childcare setting
- Passion for child development and creating exceptional early learning experiences
