Reporting to the Executive Director of Campus Ministry, the Director of Campus Ministry Operations, Budget & Community Relations serves as chief assistant to the Executive Director and manages office operations at both Rose Hill and Lincoln Center campuses.
This position also manages the logistics of Campus Ministry's programmatic offerings and collaborative projects, including social media presence, and serves as adjunct pastoral minister and chief liaison with local community partners and groups.
This position requires some travel and evening and weekend hours.
Essential Functions
Advises and assists the Executive Director in preparing, developing, and implementing financial, staffing, and logistical plans to meet CM's strategic goals and mission.
Manages the main office operations in RH and LC campuses.
Executes all aspects of human resource management covering recruitment and onboarding of hires, completing HR processes and paperwork, time sheets, and payroll.
Coordinates with Campus Ministry staff in identifying and providing logistical support for programs, projects, and events; oversees event promotion via social media and traditional advertising and by networking with on- and off-campus partners.
Designs and implements systems for tracking and recording attendance and costs of all ministerial events and programmatic offerings for periodic and annual reporting.
Extends first-care assistance to individuals who seek ministerial attention. Collaborates in planning and implementing short-term service and outreach activities with local community organizations.

Management Responsibilities Supervises individual contributors (admin, clerical, maintenance) and, based on scope, occasionally other managers. Handles hiring, training, development, performance management, and corrective action, with significant input on compensation decisions. Additional Functions
Plans and executes the practical aspects of meetings and occasional conferences on- and off-site, including budget projection and funding, selecting sites, reservations for attendees, hospitality, and program evaluation.
Maintains all records of departmental reports and correspondence
Takes responsibility for the proper accounting and distribution of monies collected weekly in the University Church or from special charitable appeals, including petty cash distribution, replenishment, and reimbursements.
Required Qualifications: Education and Experience
Bachelor's Degree.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in Campus Ministry operations. Strong organizational skills, including the exercise of critical initiative within the dynamics of teamwork.
Required Qualifications: Knowledge and Skills
Demonstrated administrative aptitude and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), Google Docs, e-mail-based system, and University Reservation System (25 LIVE or similar).
Familiarity with Adobe products, website architecture, and various social media platforms.
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in an academic institution and interact with a college-age population through familiarity with youth culture.
Effective interpersonal skills and a warm, welcoming attitude to people of different or no faith traditions, expanded self-identities, and cultural origins.
Familiarity with and enthusiasm for the values of a Catholic Jesuit institution with its culture of a "faith that does justice" that stands in solidarity with the poor and marginalized.
