Job Details

We are seeking an accomplished and forward-thinking Director of Business Development to lead our growth initiatives in the manufacturing industry. This offers an incredible opportunity to leverage your knowledge and expertise in precision grinding, medical wire, and metal tubing. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully identifying and securing new business opportunities, and a deep understanding of the medical device industry. You will be responsible for driving strategic business growth, building strong relationships with key industry partners, and overseeing the development and implementation of comprehensive business development plans.

Responsibilities

1. Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve business goals and objectives, focusing on revenue growth, market penetration, and customer satisfaction in the manufacturing industry.
2. Identify new business opportunities, including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products, and services.
3. Build and maintain strong relationships with key industry partners, stakeholders, and decision-makers.
4. Lead and manage the business development team, providing coaching and mentoring to ensure they reach their full potential.
5. Oversee the development and implementation of comprehensive business development plans, setting and achieving key performance metrics.
6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align our business development strategies with company objectives.
7. Conduct market research and analysis to understand industry trends and competitive landscape.
8. Represent the company at industry events and conferences, promoting our brand and products.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior business development role within the manufacturing industry focused on Med Device OEMs.
3. Proven experience selling precision grinding, medical wire, and metal tubing solutions.
4. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a high-performing team.
5. Exceptional negotiation and relationship-building skills.
6. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively articulate complex concepts to a variety of audiences.
7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strategic approach to business development.
8. Proficient in using business software, including CRM and project management tools.
9. Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and partners.
10. Proven track record of achieving business growth objectives and securing new business opportunities.
