A DAY IN THE LIFE:
Identify and develop relationships with industry professionals within food and beverage distribution and/or cold storage sectors, leveraging market trends to generate new business opportunities
Create and expand ARCO’s footprint and establish top of mind awareness
Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders, including distributors and logistics providers to drive collaborative growth
Develop and execute creative sales strategies to meet revenue goals, including being involved with proposals, contracts, and negotiations
Stay ahead of trends in the food and beverage industry
Work closely with internal teams to align business development strategies with our design-build capabilities and project execution goals
Attend trade shows and association meetings to stay abreast of market conditions, competition, and establish relationships with new clients and prospects
Travel as needed, up to 40%
NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS:
At least 5 years of experience in new business development, preferably focused on food and beverage distribution and/or cold storage sectors
Bachelor's degree, preferably in Engineering, Construction Management, Supply Chain or a related field
Understanding of cold chain logistics, energy-efficient systems, and emerging technologies
Proven ability to identify opportunities, build strategic partnerships, and execute growth strategies
Proficiency in CRM software preferred (e.g. Salesforce, Pipedrive, MS Dynamics)
