POSITION SUMMARY:Under the supervision of the Senior Director of Advancement Services, the Director of Advancement Services Annual Giving is responsible for leading fundraising operations and donor support functions that advance the YMCA's philanthropic goals. This role partners across the Association to ensure operational excellence, strengthen fundraising effectiveness, and support a positive donor experience.The position directly supports the Association's mission by strengthening philanthropic operations that help ensure equitable access to programs and services for all members of our communityESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Advancement OperationsLead the execution and continuous improvement of Annual Campaign operations, including pledge processing, payment administration, billing cycles, recurring giving programs, payroll deduction giving, and related revenue management processes, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and alignment with organizational goals.Establish, implement, and monitor operational procedures that support donor stewardship, revenue tracking, campaign effectiveness, and positive donor experiences across the Association.Direct recurring giving and donor payment processes, including system administration, discrepancy resolution, donor outreach, and retention strategies that support sustained philanthropic engagement and revenue growth.Collaborate with Finance and Advancement staff to ensure accurate and timely processing, reconciliation, and reporting of fundraising-related transactions and electronic payments.Data ManagementEstablish and maintain data governance standards that support the integrity, accuracy, and strategic use of donor information throughout the fundraising lifecycle.Direct donor data management processes, including gift administration, record maintenance, donor segmentation, auditing, and reporting, ensuring adherence to best practices and organizational standards.Evaluate donor and fundraising data, identify trends, and implement corrective actions and process improvements that strengthen operational effectiveness, donor confidence, and campaign performance.Determine reporting methodologies and develop reports, dashboards, and recommendations that support goal setting, campaign evaluation, leadership decision-making, and fundraising strategy.Organizational PartnershipSupervise, coach, and develop Advancement Services staff, establishing performance expectations and ensuring high-quality execution of departmental responsibilities.Design, deliver, and continuously improve Annual Campaign Liaison training and support programs, promoting consistent campaign administration, audit compliance, and operational excellence across the Association.Provide guidance and consultation to campaign stakeholders and organizational leaders while exercising independent judgment to prioritize initiatives, resolve operational challenges, and recommend improvements that enhance fundraising effectiveness and donor service.Partner with key ARC departments, and other organizational leaders to assess fundraising operational needs and develop solutions that advance departmental and Association-wide goals.Collaboratively support shared Advancement Services communication channels, ensuring responsive, accurate, and customer-focused service.Donor Stewardship & Relationship SupportDevelop and oversee donor acknowledgment, recognition, and stewardship processes, including donor communications, honorarium stewardship, payment-related outreach, and retention efforts that strengthen donor relationships and support philanthropic engagement.Provide operational and project support to the Director of Grants and other members of the Advancement team as needed.Additional ResponsibilitiesCompletion of all required annual trainings related to safety, compliance, and child protection as assigned.Perform all other duties as assigned.QUALIFICATIONS:Degree in related field preferred and 1+ years of related experience.Experience supporting fundraising operations, donor data management, reporting, billing, and revenue administration processes. Demonstrated commitment to building community and fostering meaningful relationships through mission driven work and cross department collaboration.Experience supporting organizational initiatives and staff development within a team based, service oriented environment.Ability to coordinate projects, workflows, and schedules effectively in a dynamic setting.Strong communication skills, including written, verbal, and public-facing interactions.Demonstrates initiative, sound judgment, strong organizational and time-management skills, and attention to detail.Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and provide recommendations that support operational effectiveness and fundraising goals. Ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders while managing multiple priorities and maintaining confidentiality.
