Responsibilities of the Admissions & Marketing Coordinator:

  • Coordinate marketing and relationship building on behalf of the facility
  • Act as a liaison between the facility and the outside community.
  • Position has daily contact with potential referral sources including hospitals, physicians, insurers, case management companies and health care agencies.
  • Develops strategies to maximize admissions of residents requiring care.
  • Collaborate with outside agencies on referrals and coordinate transitions to facility
  • Conducts facility tours for potential residents and families; ensures that information is available for others that conduct tours.
  • Receives resident referrals and disseminates information to decision makers.
  • Conduct admission screening of potential patients; determine level of care, services required, equipment needs and insurance coverage, as indicated.
  • Offers support to families through the admission process and throughout stay
  • Engage and actively participate in facility team atmosphere
