Responsibilitiesarrow_right

  • Functional leadership of the Americas NPM Buyers.
  • Support all regional sourcing activities related to rubber molds, machines and equipment, MRO, IT, Services, Logistics, eProcurement, etc.
  • Interface between VC plants, buyers & category managers to foster the collaboration & achievement of goals within NPM (i.e. cost savings).
  • Continuous improvement of NPM Processes within the region Americas &
  • alignment with other regions.
  • Drive digitalization within NPM Purchasing.
  • Create, improve & train the understanding of increasing internal and
  • external requirements to NPM processes (e.g. legal, customer, VC).
  • Maintain NPM standing/vision within the Americas Organization.
  • Drive & foster the exchange between the local/global NPM Functions &
  • other stakeholders within VC.
  • Improve ERP data & supplier data for analysis.

Qualificationsarrow_right

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field required.
  • 10+ years of progressive purchasing/procurement experience in the automotive or manufacturing industry, including leadership of regional or global teams.
  • Strong experience in indirect (NPM) purchasing categories such as capital equipment, MRO, logistics, IT, and services.
  • Proven track record of leading sourcing initiatives, driving cost savings, and improving supplier performance across multiple sites.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience managing and developing teams in a matrixed, regional environment.
  • Deep understanding of procurement processes, compliance requirements, and contract management within a global organization.
  • Experience driving process improvements, standardization, and digitalization initiatives within procurement functions.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Workday) and strong data analytics capabilities to improve supplier and purchasing data quality.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate across plants, functions, and global teams.
  • Strong communication and training skills to drive adoption of procurement processes and ensure alignment with internal and external requirements.
