Bosch Rexroth is seeking a Director of National Indirect Sales to lead and optimize our U.S. channel sales strategy within the Mobile Hydraulics business. This executive-level role is responsible for driving sustainable revenue growth through a high-performing network of distributors, partners, and indirect sales channels.

The Director will develop and execute a national channel strategy aligned with business unit objectives, ensuring strong market coverage, profitable growth, and elevated partner performance. This leader will combine deep technical and commercial acumen in off-highway/mobile applications with strong business judgment, strategic planning capability, and team leadership experience.

The ideal candidate brings an entrepreneurial mindset, a customer-obsessed approach, and a proven ability to scale revenue through both direct leadership and effective channel enablement.

Key Responsibilities

Channel Strategy & Market Growth

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive national indirect sales strategy aligned with Mobile Hydraulics growth objectives
  • Define market coverage models, segmentation strategies, and channel performance expectations
  • Identify new channel opportunities and optimize existing distributor networks to increase market penetration
  • Establish clear revenue targets, margin expectations, and pipeline growth objectives

Channel Performance & Accountability

  • Lead performance management processes for distributor and partner networks, including:

  • Sales targets and KPIs

  • Forecasting accuracy

  • Market development initiatives

  • Conduct regular business reviews with key channel partners to evaluate growth, profitability, and alignment

  • Implement structured programs to improve partner capability, technical knowledge, and commercial effectiveness

Leadership & Organizational Development

  • Lead and develop a national indirect sales team, including regional managers and channel leaders
  • Recruit, coach, and mentor sales managers to drive accountability and performance
  • Build a culture focused on results, collaboration, and continuous improvement
  • Develop succession planning and talent pipelines within the sales organization

Strategic Customer & Partner Engagement

  • Establish and maintain executive-level relationships with key distributor principals and strategic partners
  • Serve as a senior commercial representative for Bosch Rexroth within the indirect channel ecosystem
  • Align distributor strategies with Bosch Rexroth product roadmaps and value propositions
  • Represent the voice of the channel internally to influence portfolio strategy and service enhancements

Forecasting & Cross-Functional Alignment

  • Own national indirect sales forecasting, pipeline visibility, and revenue reporting
  • Collaborate closely with marketing, product management, inside sales, and operations to align demand generation, inventory planning, and customer initiatives
  • Ensure consistent communication between field sales, channel partners, and internal stakeholders

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent technical background
  • Minimum 5 years of experience leading and managing a sales team, including performance management and talent development
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in independent/direct or channel sales roles
  • Minimum 5 years of experience within the mobile/off-highway hydraulics industry or related equipment markets
  • Demonstrated success developing and executing sales strategies aligned with business objectives
  • Proven track record of delivering sustained pipeline growth and revenue performance
  • Strong forecasting capability and experience aligning cross-functional teams (marketing, product management, inside sales, operations)
  • Experience managing distributor or channel partner relationships

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience managing a national or multi-region distributor network
  • Background in complex, engineered solution sales within OEM or industrial markets
