Summary: The Director, Member Investment Sales & Service provides strategic leadership and operational oversight for the credit union's investment services and insurance programs. The Director leads Investment Service Coordinators who support financial advisors affiliated with LPL through TruStage and ensures the delivery of a compliant, member-focused, and growth-oriented investment program. This role does not directly provide investment advice or act as a producing securities agent.

Education and/or Experience: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field required or eight years of directly related experience Minimum of six years of relevant experience with a minimum three years leading or influencing people Active Series 66 license required Strong business acumen with a broad understanding of fundamental business principles Analytical problem-solving skills Attention to detail Excellent oral and written communication skills Strong interpersonal skills and effective working relationships with all stakeholders, both internal and external Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) Public speaking skills

Job Responsibilities: Responsible for program performance, service excellence, sales enablement, and regulatory oversight associated with investment services Develop and implement short and long-term sales strategies and training to increase revenue and profit margin for TruStage lending protection and investment products Leads sales activities and efforts through Teachers Investment Services Coordinators Works collaboratively across departments to provide leadership, coaching, and development for the front-line teams throughout the organization to achieve company objectives Develops and manages strategic business relationships by understanding requirements and collaborating with stakeholders to create effective strategies and plans Develops policies and procedures to guide the analysis and evaluation of investment products and ensure investment activities comply with regulatory standards Partner with Retail Operations, Internal Auditing, and Compliance to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and mitigate risk Ensures maximum effectiveness of sales and service goals by developing, implementing, and conducting training programs to support Contact Center, Premier, Relationship Sales, Retail and Lending departments Researches new training methods and determines feasibility of use Evaluates and enhances training programs to maximize revenue goals and enhance employee development Conducts training on- and off-site to both general employee groups and management groups Stays informed of industry regulations and best practices, adjusting strategies and procedures accordingly

The good faith range for this position is $138,500 - $173k. This range is an estimate, based on potential employee qualifications and operational needs. The salary may vary above and below the stated amounts, as permitted by applicable law. All candidates will be subject to a background check, credit check, and drug test to determine employment eligibility.
