Summary

This individual will have the overall responsibility of maintaining/growing external reference lab and pathology service with borderless territories supported by a team of account executives and field consultants.

Job Description

Leads a team of account executives focused on maintaining and growing external reference lab and pathology services. Responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to meet system goals while ensuring profitability, brand integrity, and compliance. Leads strategic opportunities by establishing relationships, identifying needs, and coordinating professional proposals within defined deadlines. Reviews team efforts to ensure alignment with system expectations and strategy. Frequently travels with team to support territory growth and provide sales training and guidance. Establish clear short-term sales goals and long-term strategic growth plans. Align goals with measurable sales metrics, including CRM utilization, strategic planning, and targeted sales activities for both existing and prospective clients. Demonstrate strong data analytics capabilities, including the ability to interpret trends and identify profitable opportunities. Interacts closely with internal marketing team developing collaborative material, education events, and campaigns. Communicates regularly with senior leadership and lab operations providing forecasts, addressing any service issues with existing clients, and defining service expectations on new accounts.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in laboratory science, business or related field required. Master's degree preferred.

Minimum five years’ laboratory sales, operations, administration or technical management required.
