Job Overview:The Director will be responsible for planning, organizing, coordinating, and overseeing daily infection control activities for both inpatient and outpatient settings, catering to patients of all ages. This role involves collaboration with other technical and professional staff to share insights and resolve interdisciplinary challenges. The Director will prepare reports and statistics in accordance with regulatory requirements, organizational directives, and on an as-needed basis. Additionally, the role includes facilitating the Infection Control Committee, maintaining relevant statistical data, and serving as a resource for individuals, department heads, and committees. The Director will also identify educational needs related to Infection Control and implement necessary programs, while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Responsibilities also include reporting safety concerns such as hazardous environments and medical errors, ensuring that the department adheres to all applicable policies, laws, and regulations.
