The Opportunity

Fox Innovation & Technologies is seeking a dynamic and entrepreneurial leader to oversee and grow our industrial storage business. The Director, Industrial Storage Services will be responsible for the overall operational, financial, and commercial performance of ISS, including warehouse operations, customer relationships, revenue growth, business development, pricing strategy, and market expansion.

This role serves as the senior leader for ISS and is responsible for ensuring operational excellence while driving strategic growth initiatives across multiple storage facilities. The successful candidate will maximize facility utilization, develop new business opportunities, strengthen customer partnerships, improve profitability, and position ISS for long-term expansion within the industrial equipment storage market.

The Director will serve as the face of ISS to customers, partners, and industry stakeholders while collaborating closely with leadership across Fox Innovation & Technologies to support business objectives and growth initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for multiple storage facilities across Texas, Louisiana, and future expansion markets.
  • Develop and execute annual business plans, growth initiatives, operating objectives, and revenue targets.
  • Develop and refine pricing strategies, service offerings, and market positioning to maximize profitability, competitiveness, customer satisfaction, and growth.
  • Drive revenue growth through customer acquisition, retention, and expansion of existing relationships.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with industrial customers, EPC contractors, OEMs, equipment owners, manufacturers, and strategic partners.
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for customer needs and operational issues, maintaining availability outside normal business hours and responding to urgent customer requirements, facility issues, or operational disruptions as necessary.
  • Collaborate with Fox sales teams and operating companies to identify cross-selling and business development opportunities.
  • Represent ISS at customer meetings, industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
  • Own the financial performance of ISS, including revenue growth, gross margin, operating profitability, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Oversee facility utilization, storage planning, inventory management, and operational workflows.
  • Ensure all labor, equipment moves, storage services, maintenance activities, and value-added services are accurately captured and billed.
  • Ensure all storage, handling, lifting, rigging, transportation, preservation, and retrieval activities are performed safely and in compliance with customer requirements, company standards, and applicable regulations.
  • Assess staffing requirements and recruit, develop, coach, and mentor warehouse and operations personnel to support current operations and future growth.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, customer service, safety, teamwork, and operational excellence.
  • Maintain a hands-on leadership approach, providing operational support as needed, including assisting with facility operations, customer requests, equipment movements, and warehouse coverage during staffing shortages or peak business demands.
  • Travel regularly between facilities to ensure operational consistency, customer engagement, and team alignment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, Supply Chain, Engineering, Logistics, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive leadership experience in industrial operations, warehousing, logistics, equipment services, manufacturing, or related industries.
  • Experience leading P&L accountability, pricing strategy, and business planning preferred.
  • Working knowledge of crane operations, forklift operations, rigging practices, lift planning, load handling, and the safe movement of large industrial assets.
  • Familiarity with OSHA regulations and industrial safety standards related to warehousing, lifting, rigging, and material handling.
  • Experience working with large rotating equipment, industrial machinery, pressure vessels, turbines, compressors, pumps, motors, or similar heavy industrial assets is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated success managing multi-site operations and leading diverse teams.
  • Proven experience driving business growth, customer development, and operational performance.
  • Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, pricing strategies, and profitability management.
  • Experience reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts and customer agreements.
  • Ability to develop and maintain executive-level customer relationships.
  • Strong leadership, communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and business management systems.
  • Valid driver's license with the ability to travel extensively between facilities and customer locations.

  • This position supports a customer-driven operation that may require availability outside traditional business hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to address urgent customer needs, operational issues, or facility requirements.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Requires sitting, standing, bending, walking, and using hands/tools for extended periods.
  • Requires operation of industrial equipment.
