At NorthBay Health, The Director of the Heart and Vascular Service Line provides strategic, operational, and financial leadership for the Heart and Vascular service line across the continuum of care.
This role is accountable for driving growth, quality, patient experience, and financial performance through close partnership with physician leaders, nursing leadership, and system stakeholders. The Director leads multidisciplinary teams, ensures regulatory and accreditation compliance, advances evidence-based care models, and positions Heart and Vascular as a destination service aligned with organizational strategy and community needs.
This individual works collaboratively with VPs of Service Lines, Medical Directors and Surgical Services leadership, staff and management team in planning and delivery an optimal level of care for the heart and vascular patient. S/he operates from an expert knowledge base of service line development. S/he supervises, coaches and mentors personnel. S/he ensures cost effective patient outcomes through the supervision of clinical/professional staff, collaboration with medical staff, nursing and support staff.
This Director ensures compliance with state/federal and other regulatory and accreditation body guidelines and requirements. This individual must be fiscally savvy, willing to assume new responsibilities as requested, accept accountability and operate effectively under pressure. Confidence, integrity, skilled communication and positivity are also essential.

Compensation Structure
NorthBay Health uses a structured compensation framework. Staff-level positions use a step-based system (Steps 1-5) based on years of directly related experience, with Step 5 representing 20 or more years of experience in the role. Manager level and above positions are paid a fixed annual base salary and are eligible for a variable incentive compensation plan. Physician compensation is structured based on specialty and role requirements.

NorthBay Health is primarily an onsite organization due to the nature of healthcare. Some roles may allow hybrid or remote work based on business needs.
Remote work is not supported in Washington, Ohio, Wyoming, North Dakota, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, or outside of the United States.
