OVERVIEW
The Director, Global Sourcing & Supplier Management owns the strategic sourcing process and will develop and execute a global sourcing strategy that builds the capabilities needed for long-term growth and sustainability. This position develops, maintains, and leverages long-term key relationships with suppliers, while driving profitability and growth through a high focus on cost, quality, and capacity. The Director will own all aspects of strategic sourcing in collaboration with various business leaders. Responsibilities include manufacturing partner selection, risk assessment, securing capacity to support current and future growth, cost and contract negotiations, quality assurance, and relationship management.
The Director will also provide ongoing management of new and existing manufacturing operations globally through a cross functional team of sourcing and quality assurance professionals, focusing on strategic planning, country of origin diversification, developing and tracking supplier KPIs, and alignment through ongoing continuous improvement efforts to control and reduce costs and enhance quality, productivity, and efficiency.
The ideal candidate will be based in the Dallas area and available to work in a hybrid work environment rotating between a home office and our office in Garland, TX.
