NVIDIA is seeking a Director of Strategic Sourcing to lead the Connectors & Cables category globally. NVIDIA has continuously reinvented itself over two decades. Our invention of the GPU in 1999 sparked the growth of the PC gaming market, redefined modern computer graphics, and revolutionised parallel computing - with the GPU acting as the brains of computers, robots, and self-driving cars that can perceive and understand the world. Today, we are increasingly known as "the AI computing company." Were looking to grow our company and build our teams with the smartest people in the world. Join us at the forefront of technological advancement.

This role owns the end-to-end sourcing strategy for a highly critical and fast-growing Connector and Cable category, including supplier relationships, cost management, production forecasting, and risk mitigation. You are a recognised industry leader with strong executive relationships in the connector and cable ecosystem, bringing deep technical and business expertise, analytical rigor, and a collaborative leadership style. You have a proven track record of transforming commodity teams and driving high-impact supplier engagements.

What you'll be doing:

• Lead a team of Global Commodity Managers (GCMs). They will coordinate extensively alongside Engineering, Quality, Operations, and Finance to support product ramps and scale. • Own the global sourcing strategy for connectors and cables across all programs and product lifecycles, including multi-year roadmaps, supplier diversification, and second-source risk mitigation. • Partner with suppliers to speed up capacity ramps and site bring-ups for new product launches. Proactively manage supply, geopolitical, and operational risks. Lead efforts to resolve blocking issues and support recovery. • Collaborate closely with Engineering, Quality and Operations on supplier selection, design trade-offs, PCN approvals, demand planning, and inventory and cost alignment. • Own category cost targets and cost-reduction initiatives, evaluate supplier investments and NRE with an ROI-driven mindset, and drive rigor in forecasts, commitments, and liabilities. • Lead strategic and executive-level supplier relationships, negotiating commercial terms, capacity commitments, and investment models while managing performance across cost, quality, delivery, and technology readiness. • Build and lead a high-performing strategic sourcing team by setting clear goals, developing talent, and fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and data-driven decision-making.

What we need to see:

12+ overall years of experience in strategic sourcing, supply chain, or procurement, with deep expertise in connectors, cables, or related electromechanical components. 5+ years of proven experience leading global suppliers and negotiating complex commercial agreements. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, capacity planning, and supplier qualification for connector and cable industry. Demonstrated success supporting high-volume ramps and new product introductions. Experience leading and developing teams. Experience working with tier-1 connector and cable suppliers. Experience in supporting data center, AI systems, networking, or high-performance computing products. MBA or advanced technical degree (or equivalent experience).

With competitive salaries and generous benefits packages, we are widely considered to be one of the technology world's most desirable employers; we have some of the most thoughtful and dedicated people working for us and, due to unparalleled growth, our best-in-class teams are rapidly growing. If you're creative and autonomous with a real passion for your work, we want to hear from you!

Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The base salary range is $240,000 USD - $379,500 USD.

You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.

Applications for this job will be accepted at least until March 5, 2026.
