Job Summary
Grambling State University is seeking a highly motivated and proven leader to oversee all aspects of The Diversity Initiatives for Undergraduate Student Achievement in Teacher Education. This initiative targets increasing the number of diverse students earning a teaching degree. The position will involve developing, implementing, and managing the initiatives for the organization in order to recruit and retain diverse students. The position will oversee the initiatives through developing and executing strategies, developing and distributing marketing and promotional materials ,and other efforts related to the initiatives. The position will involve creating, implementing, and managing strategies for the organization in order to cultivate and strengthen relationships with donors, partners/sponsors and the community. The candidate must demonstrate interest in the areas of pedagogy, grant writing, research and publication, and other scholarly activities sufficient to warrant consideration promotion. Certification is a plus.
