Department Overview The U.S. Food Safety & Quality Systems Team is part of the North America Supply Chain function that enables the McDonalds System to connect customers with food they love and trust. The role requires systems thinking, strong communication, and a partnership mindset to deliver integrated solutions, build trust cross-functionally, and work closely with internal teams, suppliers, distributors, operators, and global partners.

Qualifications The required characteristics and skills of individual in the role include the ability to:
Build trust and credibility as a valued business partner.
Assess supply chain risks and develop mitigation plans.
Influence and proactively manage stakeholder expectations through effective communication including delivery of insights through clear storytelling.
Effectively leverage subject matter expertise in support of others and business objectives.
Leverage data, analytics, and digital tools.
Incorporate learnings obtained through external networking and benchmarking to drive continuous improvement.
A track record of building relationships and effectively collaborating with suppliers, cross-functional partners, operators (franchisees) and industry.
Demonstrated passion and commitment to coaching and developing others.
10+ years of food safety and quality program management experience; specific experience in restaurant food safety, quality systems and/or sanitation/hygiene a plus.
Bachelors degree required; advanced degree in relevant field of study preferred - e.g., food science, animal science, food safety, environmental health.
