The Director of FSQAR oversees client projects, ensuring efficient delivery and building strong relationships.
Responsibilities include developing food safety, quality assurance, recall, GMP, and risk assessment programs using risk-based approaches, and writing monthly articles on FSQAR topics.
They train clients and teams on Food Safety, QA, and regulations, manage customer response programs, and coordinate internal/external stakeholders.
Requires experience with GFSI schemes (SQF, BRC, FSC 22000), project management, and knowledge of pet and human food regulations.
Qualifications include a Bachelor's in food safety or related field, PCQI certification, 10+ years in pet/human food industry or auditing, strong communication, problem-solving, and travel willingness (30-50%).
Onsite role based in Northwest Arkansas; beneficial skills include entrepreneurial mindset, statistical proficiency, multilingual abilities, and familiarity with software tools.
