Job Description
The Director, Flex and Installment Solutions will lead all aspects of product solutioning growth and adoption across various functions from inception through deal close while building programs and automations that get us from idea to launch significantly faster. Flex and Installments are key for modernizing credential capability enabling new income streams new entrants for faster distribution and accomplishing top of wallet status for issuers. This leader and their team will help drive global change support market initiatives delivering consistently to unlock new payment volume aligned to strategic growth imperatives. This leader and their team will work closely with various teams across Product Development, Strategy, GTM, Data Technology, Finance, Regions, Rules, Risk and more to define and deliver accelerated sales use cases in more markets in alignment with growth levers. The team must support alignment and provide narrative, tooling and executional streamlining across all of Visas 5 regions directly owning leading and executing key cross functional initiatives that are top management priorities.
Reporting to the Senior Director, this leader will lead with Customer Obsession and drive growth through solutioning of new concepts and product constructs in partnership with regional teams, Big Tech partners hypergrowth fintech, processors and tier 1 issuers. The role requires ability to develop strong cross functional relationship to enable new prototypes and to lead the narrative and framing of existing and new solutions for regional teams.
The role requires an understanding of the four-party ecosystem card-based payments and experiences with a primary emphasis on the issuance side while also understanding the integration points across buyers, issuers, acquirers, sellers and technology platforms. This role is global and will need to balance regional and global opportunities to achieve overall solution and platform objectives. Accomplishing this will require ability to influence and collaborate across a complex and highly matrixed organization and provide leadership and clear vision to direct and indirect teams.
The role also requires a demonstrated ability to operate as an advanced user of AI‑enabled tools and agent‑based workflows, using them routinely to drive faster, higher‑quality outputs such as agents, tools, designs and artifacts, more effective planning and process, and clearer reporting.

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
10 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 8 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters/ MBA/JD/MD) or at least 3 years of work experience with a PhD
Preferred Qualifications:
12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 8-10 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 6+ years of work experience with a PhD
Demonstrated success leading large scale multi market product launches and driving growth in global financial services payments fintech or technology innovation.
Deep product expertise including network products processing frameworks rules and complex technology ecosystems with a strong track record in product management and innovation.
Exceptional cross functional leadership skills with proven ability to influence at all levels align product sales, market teams, and navigate diverse regional priorities.
Strong analytical strategic and creative problem-solving capabilities able to synthesize complex information define ambitious goals and make data driven decisions.
Outstanding communication, storytelling and presentation skills adept at simplifying complexity driving clarity and building common ground across stakeholders.
Extensive experience in go-to-market planning sales enablement and the development of scalable playbooks frameworks and market activation strategies.
Demonstrated ability to manage complex multi-stakeholder programs with strong project management discipline and business acumen.
Customer centered mindset with deep experience researching user needs interpreting market trends and translating insights into meaningful product direction.
Proven people leadership experience overseeing senior product managers and high performing teams with a focus on coaching development and succession planning.

The estimated salary range for this position is $192,300.00 to $ 307,600.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
