Required Qualifications
Five years relevant experience in higher education or similar professional environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree of social work or related degree and five years of experience in higher education and/or faculty affairs role.
Substantial professional experience in several of the following areas: faculty affairs, social work education, higher education administration generally, human resources management, organizational development, event planning, and workshop development for adult learners.
Ability to prioritize tasks, balance multiple priorities, meet deadlines and stay within budget
Attention to detail, quality and accuracy
Budgeting and financial management
Familiar with HR guidelines
Committee management, including agenda setting and group facilitation. Demonstrated record of shepherding high achieving groups to meet targeted outcomes.
Able to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
Inventive, able to demonstrate a track record of successfully launching new initiatives.
Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills, able to establish productive relationships with people in a range of roles and with a variety of lived experiences.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, including comfort presenting to and writing for large audiences.
Team orientation, working well in a cross-trained group.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
