The Director of Environmental Services - Housekeeping is a full-time leadership role at a community medical center, reporting to the COO.
Responsibilities include overseeing all aspects of hospital cleaning and maintenance, hiring, training, supervising EVS and laundry staff, managing supplies and equipment, and assisting with budgeting within allocated guidelines.
Qualifications require a bachelor’s degree, at least seven years of management experience in healthcare sanitation, knowledge of infection control, and familiarity with hospital standards like TJC.
Essential skills include personnel management, sanitation protocols, budget preparation, and compliance analysis.
