General Description:

Metro Technology Centers is accepting applications for Director, Enrollment and Student Services who will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and operational oversight for the District's enrollment management and student support functions, including student services, career advisement, recruitment and admissions, testing, registration, and customer-facing enrollment operations.

General Qualifications:

Education/Experience:

  • Master's degree in educational leadership or administration, Public Administration, Higher Education Administration, Marketing, or related field.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of progressive leadership experience in education, student services, enrollment management or related field.
  • knowledge of enrollment management strategies, student services best practices and relevant regulations.
  • Experience collaborating across multiple departments and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated experience in budget management and resource allocation.

Representative Duties:

Oversees and directs the management and day-to-day operations of the Student Services department.

  • Provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for Student Services including Recruitment, Admissions, Enrollment, Career Advisement, Testing, Registrar, and related operations.
  • Develop and implement enrollment management strategies that support enrollment growth, student success, and district priorities.
  • Lead recruitment, outreach, and admissions initiatives in collaboration with internal and external partners to increase awareness and enrollment.
  • Evaluate and improve enrollment, admissions, registration, and student service processes to enhance operational efficiency, compliance, and the student experience.
  • Analyze enrollment and student success data, prepare reports, and recommend strategies to improve performance and inform decision-making.
  • Provide leadership and oversight for admissions, enrollment, registration, testing, and student records processes, including the effective use of the district's Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system and Student Information System (SIS) to support operational excellence and data integrity.
  • Build and maintain partnerships with district schools, higher education, workforce, and community organizations to expand student access and enrollment opportunities.
  • Recruit, supervise, develop, and evaluate assigned staff while fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, innovation, and exceptional customer service.
  • Develop, administer, and monitor departmental budgets and ensure responsible stewardship of district resources.
  • Collaborate with instructional leadership to align enrollment strategies with workforce needs, program capacity, and district goals.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives by implementing best practices, technology solutions, and operational enhancements.
  • Ensure compliance with district policies and applicable state, federal, accreditation, and student records requirements.
  • Represent Metro Tech with internal and external stakeholders and provide reports and recommendations to executive leadership.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Administration.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Knowledge of enrollment management, admissions, student services, and applicable state and federal regulations.

  • Knowledge of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, Student Information Systems (SIS), and data analysis tools.

  • Demonstrated leadership, supervisory, organizational, and budget management skills.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic planning abilities.

  • Excellent oral, written, interpersonal, and customer service skills.

  • Ability to build collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Ability to lead organizational change, manage multiple priorities, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions that support enrollment, student success, and operational effectiveness.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other technology applications relevant to the position.

  • Valid driver's license and the ability to travel between district campuses and partner locations as required.

Reports to: Senior Director, Strategic Communication and Engagement

Physical Requirements:

  • Frequent sitting, standing, walking, reaching, handling, and use of a computer.

  • Constant communication, hearing, and near and mid-range vision.

  • Occasional lifting and carrying of materials weighing up to 25 pounds.

  • Travel between district campuses and community locations.
