Director Engineering Operations Leader

As an Engineering Operations Leader here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for the strategic alignment, operational excellence, and execution discipline across global cross functional teams. This role partners closely with Finance, Product Operations, and cross‑functional stakeholders to ensure engineering investments translate into measurable business outcomes-especially through New Product Introduction (NPI) and strategic growth initiatives. They will lead portfolio governance, optimize resources, elevate engineering performance, and provide data‑driven insights that strengthen decision‑making at the executive level. This role entails expert level process and tools knowledge of the New Product Introduction (NPI) from Idea to Delivery, and a proven ability to work globally with high-performing cross-functional Teams.

You will report directly to our senior leadership team, and you'll work out of our Atlanta, GA location on a Hybrid work schedule.

YOU MUST HAVE

• Technical Degree & Tools - bachelor's degree in a technical STEM discipline; Electrical Engineering preferred, with advanced engineering degrees highly valued. Expertise in Data Analytics tools such as Excel, Tableau and Power BI.
• Engineering Leadership, Operations / PM Experience - 5+ years in engineering leadership roles with a strong record of managing cross‑functional and global teams. With minimum 3 years' experience in Engineering Operations or Project Management.
• Global Team Leadership - Proven ability to lead, influence, and develop high‑performing global teams.
• Leadership, Communication & Strategic Skills - Excellent communication, interpersonal, and strategic problem‑solving abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple priorities effectively.
