Title: Director, EHS Programs, Compliance & TrainingThe Director – Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) is responsible for leading the development, standardization, and governance of corporate EHS programs with a strong emphasis on regulatory compliance, training, and enterprise‑wide program execution. This role ensures effective global implementation of EHS systems, alignment with ISO standards, and continuous improvement in safety and environmental performance across manufacturing, engineering and service operations.This role is mainly based in Fort Collins, Colorado.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and govern global EHS programs, policies, and procedures to ensure consistency across all locationsLead corporate compliance programs and ensure adherence to global EHS regulationsMaintain and enhance ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 aligned management systemsDesign and implement a global EHS training strategy including compliance and risk‑based trainingPartner with site and regional teams to ensure effective deployment and audit readinessConduct and oversee corporate audits and corrective action programsDrive risk assessment processes with focus on high‑risk activities such as electrical safetySupport emergency preparedness and crisis response programsCollaborate cross‑functionally to embed EHS into business operationsWork EnvironmentEnvironment: works in standard office environment, using general office equipmentRegular travel to support training, audits, and program implementationQualificationsDeep knowledge of EHS regulations and compliance frameworksExperience developing and delivering global training programsStrong understanding of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 systemsAbility to influence across global organizations and collaborate in an international matrix environmentStrong communication and presentation skillsAnalytical mindset with focus on performance metricsProven ability to translate between business, technical and operations teams, with excellent communication and stakeholder management skillsExperience10+ years of experience in EHS within a global or multinational organization with at least 5 years in leadership rolesExperience in industrial, electronics, or semiconductor sectors preferredEducationBachelor's degree in Engineering or related field requiredCertified Safety Professional (CSP) or equivalent certification preferredCompensationAs required by multiple state pay transparency laws, Advanced Energy provides a reasonable range of compensation for each job posting. Actual compensation is influenced by an array of factors including, but not limited to, skill set, level of experience, and specific office location.
