OVERVIEW

The Digital Insights & Analytics Leader will manage a high-performing analytics team responsible for driving data-informed decision-making. This includes delivering regular monthly and quarterly reporting, developing business cases, supporting M&A execution, building business intelligence dashboards, and evolving toward advanced predictive modeling. The role bridges technical analytics depth with business strategy, translating complex data into actionable insights that shape organizational priorities.

This position plays a critical role in shaping strategic decisions by leading a team of analysts to deliver a portfolio of analytics projects. Responsibilities include gathering data, designing experiments, performing advanced analysis, visualizing insights, and influencing business leaders through consultative skills and data storytelling. The leader will collaborate across digital teams and other business units to transform analytics into recommendations that drive competitive advantage and improve customer outcomes.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND EXPECTATIONS

Strategic Leadership

  • Build, mentor, and develop a team of data analysts; establish analytics capability and maturity
  • Partner with business leaders to understand strategic priorities and translate them into analytics roadmaps
  • Champion a data-driven decision-making culture across the organization
  • Lead end-to-end delivery of complex analytics initiatives in cross-functional environments

Analytics & Insights Delivery

  • Lead design and execution of strategic analytics projects involving data gathering, analysis, and insight generation
  • Apply advanced statistical and machine learning techniques to address business challenges
  • Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and trend identification to inform strategy
  • Translate complex datasets into clear, actionable insights and recommendations
  • Support product development, marketing, sales, and business units with data-driven insights

Data Visualization & Reporting

  • Design and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using tools such as Tableau or Power BI
  • Create presentations, reports, and visualizations that communicate findings clearly to stakeholders
  • Develop compelling data visualizations that translate complex information for diverse audiences
  • Establish standards for data presentation and reporting across the team

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Product, Technology, Finance, Marketing, UX, and other business leaders
  • Align analytics initiatives with organizational goals and strategic priorities
  • Engage executives, managers, and technical teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership in clear and concise formats

Data Excellence & Governance

  • Oversee data quality, integrity, and accuracy across analytics initiatives
  • Design and implement scalable data models supporting reporting and advanced analytics
  • Monitor data governance and compliance with applicable regulations
  • Troubleshoot data and reporting issues; maintain system reliability

Process Improvement & Optimization

  • Identify inefficiencies in current data collection, reporting, and analytics processes
  • Propose and implement improvements to streamline workflows and increase efficiency
  • Automate recurring reports and routine analytics tasks
  • Evaluate emerging tools, platforms, and methodologies to enhance team capabilities

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Experience

  • 10 years in data analytics, business intelligence, market research, or related quantitative field
  • 4–6 years managing a team of analysts
  • Experience in a regulated industry such as financial services, banking, or fintech

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, Economics, Applied Mathematics, or related quantitative field
  • OR equivalent combination of professional training and relevant experience

Technical Expertise

  • SQL, Python, R
  • Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, or similar platforms
  • AWS, Azure, or GCP experience
  • SAS, Scala, or other advanced statistical packages
  • Machine learning libraries and frameworks
  • API integration and data pipeline tools
