Job Description:

  • Manages department staffing and scheduling requirements.
  • Oversees asset management, budget implementation, and expense monitoring, including supplies, service agreements, and staff costs.
  • Reviews invoices, issues, and purchase orders.
  • Monitors financial reports, statistics, and other operational information to assist in financial management and planning.
  • Provides staff training and counseling to implement and maintain hospital policies and quality standards.
  • Acts as a liaison with Radiologists for operational issues, staffing, exam quality, and other concerns.
  • Develops, interprets, and implements department policies and procedures, including safety and infection control.
  • Participates in hospital committees, attending meetings, and preparing reports as needed.
  • Reviews and coordinates routine daily functions of the department, delegating tasks as needed to ensure completion.
  • Conducts staff evaluations, interviews, hires, and terminates employees as needed.
  • Maintains and develops the departmental performance improvement plan, reporting and implementing program changes.
  • Ensures compliance with all licensing and accrediting bodies, as well as federal and state laws, rules, regulations, and hospital policies.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Computer skills such as Word, Excel also needed. [Required]
  • Patient care skills to care for Infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patient populations. [Required]

Education:

  • Associate [Required]
  • Bachelor's [Preferred]
  • Master's [Preferred]

Field of Study:

  • in Radiology, Health Care Administration or related field

Work Experience:

  • 5+ years of leadership experience [Required]
  • 7+ years of work experience [Required]
