Director, Clinical Operations – RN (Hospice) – Leadership Opportunity in Compassionate Care

We are seeking an inspiring Director of Clinical Operations (Registered Nurse) to lead multidisciplinary teams and set new standards for compassionate patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of hospice leaders, nurses, and clinical staff, fostering a supportive and mission-driven culture.

- Oversee daily clinical operations, ensuring high-quality, evidence-based care and regulatory compliance across all services.

- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver holistic, patient-centered care.

- Monitor key quality metrics; drive continuous improvement initiatives to elevate care delivery and patient outcomes.

- Cultivate staff development through ongoing education, coaching, and mentorship.

- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal hospice regulations, policies, and industry best practices.

- Participate in strategic planning and organizational growth projects that enhance the mission and quality of care.

- Provide hands-on leadership; support clinical teams directly when needed to model best practices and address complex care needs.

Requirements:

- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice required; BSN preferred.

- Minimum of 2 years’ hospice or palliative care experience.

- At least 2 years of leadership or management experience in a clinical setting.

- Comprehensive understanding of hospice regulations, standards, and compliance.

- Excellent communication, leadership, organizational, and team-building skills.

- Proven ability to foster a collaborative, inclusive, and innovative working environment.

- Strong decision-making abilities, compassion, and the capacity to navigate complex clinical and emotional situations.
