Position Summary: Director of Business Intelligence
At Coke Florida, this role is responsible for transforming data and information into actionable insights and institutional knowledge that drive business performance, optimize operations, and support strategic decision-making across the organization. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in analytics, data architecture, and stakeholder engagement, along with strong business judgment, thought leadership, and the responsible use of AI to synthesize information quickly, interpret it in context, and translate it into meaningful action.
This leader will play a pivotal role in linking commercial and operational interdependencies, enabling a fast-learning organization that continuously adapts to market signals, consumer trends, and internal performance metrics.
Key Responsibilities:
o Develop and execute the BI strategy aligned with corporate goals and market trends.
o Champion a data-driven culture that accelerates learning cycles, strengthens contextual intelligence, and improves decision-making across the enterprise.
o Build frameworks that connect commercial insights (e.g., sales, marketing, trade performance) with operational levers (e.g., supply chain, manufacturing, logistics).
o Identify and analyze interdependencies to uncover opportunities for margin expansion, service improvement, and demand responsiveness.
o Partner with cross-functional leaders to embed real-time feedback loops that inform pricing, promotions, inventory, and production planning.
o Partnering with IT to provide business requirement in the design, development, and maintenance of scalable BI solutions, dashboards, and reporting tools.
o Thought leadership to ensure data integrity, governance, and security across all platforms.
o Drive advanced analytics initiatives including predictive modeling, segmentation, and trend analysis.
o Apply AI-enabled methods to synthesize structured and unstructured data, surface patterns, risks, and opportunities, and convert information into decision-ready insights and reusable business knowledge, with appropriate governance, accuracy, contextual interpretation, and human judgment.
o Build and mentor a high-performing BI team, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
o Promote agile ways of working and experimentation to accelerate insight generation and application.
o Thought leadership and track defined KPIs that reflect both commercial success and operational effectiveness.
o Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights that drive business outcomes.
o Present insights and recommendations to senior leadership and executive teams.
o Serve as a thought leader in data strategy, analytics innovation, and the application of business context to turn insights into enterprise value.
