The Business Development and Strategy Director is accountable for facilitating the development of business unit strategic plans and the identification of initiatives necessary to achieve organizational growth objectives. They will identify and develop new business opportunities to expand brand presence, profitability, and revenue. They will manage business goals and existing business partnerships, marketing efforts, strategies to expand market share, and research emerging business markets. They will also manage business development and pricing teams and be responsible for providing guidance and direction to senior business leadership and cross-functional team members as required in support of strategic initiatives; providing business expertise needed to set planning priorities and develop implementation approaches for concurrent initiatives and projects as team lead.

Qualifications and Experience Levels:
Finance or Business bachelor’s degree from accredited university.
Minimum 15 years of progressive business development, strategy, and supervisory experience in related industries.
Automotive or manufacturing/engineering environment.
Understanding of the automotive industry and production processes and capacity planning.
Strong IT systems knowledge, experience with SAP ERP system (S4 Hana an added benefit), statistical modeling tools, PowerBi, Tableau, and advanced Excel skills.
Demonstrable experience in statistics, forecasting and management information methods and techniques.
Experience of delivering results through cross-functional working and leading people.
