Work Schedule: Ally designates roles as (1) fully on-site, (2) hybrid, or (3) fully remote. The Opportunity
We are seeking an ambitious, automation-first leader who can identify high-impact opportunities and deliver reliable and scalable automations through robotic process automation, agentic AI, and workflow automation. As Director, BL Testing - Process Optimization and Automation, you will lead the BL Testing team in defining and executing the Automation Roadmap. In this role, you will partner closely with the broader BL Process Optimization and Automation organization to automate existing routines, streamline end-to-end workflows, and uncover new opportunities to drive incremental value through optimization and intelligent automation.
Ally Work locations for this role are Detroit, MI, Charlotte, NC, Jacksonville, FL, Cranberry Twp, PA, Downers Grove, IL, Lewisville, TX, Little Rock, AR, or Plano, TX

Minimum Qualifications
9+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experienceHigh school Diploma or GED equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
10+ years experience within financial services strongly preferredRPA Developer Certification preferredExperience in the development of Robotic Process Automation technology preferredWorking knowledge of agentic AI, Claude Code, and development platforms such as OPENAI or Automation AnywhereAbility to perform end-to-end process decomposition (as-is/to-be), converting business workflows into discrete automation requirements, user stories, and technical specifications (inputs/outputs, decision logic, exceptions, controls, and SLAs).Intellectual curiosity and continuous-learning mindset: proactively investigates root causes, asks incisive "why/what-if" questions, stays current on automation/AI and process-improvement techniques, and translates new insights into testable pilots, proof of concepts, and scalable improvements.Proven ability to operate in dynamic environments-rapidly reassessing priorities, managing ambiguity, and leading organizational change through successful delivery and adoption of new processes, tools, and automation solutionsStrong analytical and communication skills, including the ability to synthesize complex technical findings into clear written deliverables and executive-ready narrativesAbility to translate the BL Testing strategy into actionable process improvement / automation opportunities.

Base Pay Range: $125000 - $190000 USD
An individual's position in the range is determined by the specific role, the scope and responsibilities of the role, work experience, education, certification(s), training, and additional qualifications. We review internal pay, the competitive market, and business environment prior to extending an offer.
Incentive Compensation: This position is eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan.
