Overview:

The Director, Benefit Advisory is responsible for client relationship oversight, strategy, and revenue growth and retention. 

How you'll make an impact:
  • Develop and maintain existing client relationships, serving as business advisor
  • Evaluate client current state and identify potential solutions in line with client engagement
  • Establish relationships with client decision makers
  • Responsible for client satisfaction, revenue retention and growth
  • Provide guidance to both clients and internal teams on performance management
  • Utilize industry experience to identify key business challenges and recommend potential solutions
  • Work with client and internal team to establish savings targets and goals
  • Evaluate client data for purposes of directing recommended solutions
  • Scrutinize supplier contracts to reduce client risk
  • Interact and correspond with prospective clients
  • Monitor client onboarding and supplier implementations
  • Present solutions to clients via in-person meetings, web meetings or phone
  • Maintain and update internal systems
  • Create a team-based environment that reinforces Risk International’s values of intelligence, integrity, consistency, energy, advocacy, service, and respect

 

 

About you:

Required:

  • Bachelors degree and 5 years related experience required.
  • Understanding of the key challenges in employee benefit plans and current health care trends.
  • Excellent client relationship-building and presentation skills.

Preferred: 

  • Preference will be given to individuals who have completed the CEBS (Certified Employee Benefits Specialist) or have obtained their life and health insurance license.
