Salary Pay Range: $62,353.20- $65,353.20

Shift: Monday-Friday 8:30am-4:00pm

Provides administrative, operational, and supervisory leadership for the Behavioral Health Department and assigned staff, including Behavior Intervention Specialists, to ensure service quality, staff accountability, regulatory compliance, and alignment with departmental and organizational goals. Assists with leading department operations, supports program development initiatives, and promotes effective coordination of behavioral health services, resources, and workflow.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS / RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Provides administrative oversight and direct supervision of assigned departmental staff, including but not limited to Behavior Intervention Specialists, the Behavior Analyst, and the Training Coordinator, ensuring accountability, performance, and alignment with departmental goals.

· Provides supervision and support to direct reports through individual and team goal setting, work assignment, task management, and performance monitoring. Oversee the quality, timeliness, and effectiveness of work, including caseload management, professional development, and service satisfaction.

· Oversees onboarding, orientation, and competency development of new departmental staff.

· Facilitates communication and coordination regarding internal staff transitions and agency changes affecting department operations.

· Monitors completion of semiannual reviews

· Conducts spot checks of contact notes and related documentation to support quality assurance, accuracy, and compliance with agency standards.

· Reviews satisfaction survey feedback and coordinates appropriate follow-up to address concerns, identify trends, and support service improvement.

· Monitors and responds to Quality Improvement reviews and implements corrective or follow-up actions as needed.

· Attends POCA meetings for DQI

· Tracks and analyzes trends identified through Quality Improvement and DQI review activities and communicates findings, concerns, and recommendations to leadership.

· Assists with setting and implementing strategic departmental goals and operational priorities.

· Assists with coordinating Interns for department

· Ensures departmental programs and services are survey-ready and aligned with regulatory requirements, quality standards, and recognized best practices.

· Collaborates with agency and community stakeholders to promote service satisfaction, strengthen partnerships, and identify opportunities for service and program development.

· Provides leadership for new and ongoing departmental initiatives, program development efforts, and operational improvement projects.

· Active participation in agency committees and initiatives as assigned

· Complies with all agency policies and procedures

· Other duties as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

· Master’s degree in a behavioral health-related field required, including Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or a closely related discipline. Specialized training and education in high-risk behavior assessment techniques and treatment modalities required.

· Minimum of five years of professional experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities required.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Provides direct supervision and administrative oversight of assigned staff, including but not limited to Behavior Intervention Specialists, Community-Based Behavior Specialists, the Behavior Analyst, and the Training Coordinator. Responsibilities may include onboarding, coaching, performance management, accountability, and professional development.
