Position Summary:

Twenty-four hour administrative responsibility for the department. Plans, organizes and directs care provided by the department's staff. Formulates, monitors and reports the departments budgetary needs and outcomes. Allocates resources and delegates responsibilities to assure quality patient care, while maintaining legal, ethical and community standards for mental healthcare services. Responsible for recruitment, education and development of staff. Ability to manage and direct staff in the department.

Position Qualifications:

Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing

Preferred Education: Master's degree in nursing or related field.

Minimum Experience: Three to five years of experience in a managerial role; Thorough knowledge of Mental Health Law, Demonstrated leadership skills along with goal-oriented processing skills.
